While it is capable of carrying standard CATOBAR aircraft, it is designed to mostly operate drones; it has two bow EMALS and two slanted EMALS angling from the hangar bay and upwards towards the front, one per outrigger.
Drones are kept on racks, loaded with fuel and ammunition as if in a gun's magazine, ready to launch rapidly at a moment's notice.
